
Michael is an Ophthalmologist Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He grew up in Bergen County, New Jersey and received his BA from Princeton University followed by his MD from the NYU School of Medicine. Michael did his internship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center followed by his ophthalmology residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and a corneal fellowship with Corneal Associates of NJ.
He joined his father, Seligman Rosenberg MD in Fort Lee in July 1997 and continues to practice in this location in Fort Lee, NJ. He served as Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at Hackensack University Medical Center for many years as well as the Founding Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine where he is an Associate Professor. He has served on numerous academic and administrative committees and is a past President of the Bergen County Medical Society.
Michael has published numerous articles on ophthalmology as well as given many lectures and continues to be involved with teaching medical students.
Although Michael enjoys spending time with his children and friends, his true passion is caring for his patients.
