Dr. Rose Frasco graduated from Siena College with a B. A. in English with a minor in Biology in May, 1991. During her college career, she performed clinical research on chondrogenesis, which is the process at which cartilage is formed from stem cells.
Dr. Frasco earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2001 from Pennsylvania College of Optometry with Highest Clinical Honors. She was awarded the Conforma Contact Lens Award of Excellence and Honors in Pediatrics. Her optometric internships were completed at the VA Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware and Seidenberg Protzko Eye Associates, in Havre de Grace, Maryland, which is an affi liate of Johns Hopkins Medical Center. Dr. Frasco became Board Certifi ed in both the state of New Jersey in 2001 and Florida in 2002. She has been in private practice as an optometric physician since May 2001.
Dr. Frasco performs comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease including: glaucoma, dry eye disease, post-op management, corneal disease and fi tting of soft, rigid gas permeable and specialty contact lenses.
Dr. Frasco has been an examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry where she evaluates optometry candidates during their practical and clinical examinations since 2004. Dr. Frasco was named as one of the “Top Optometrists in the Country” by the Consumer Research Council of America.
Dr. Frasco is married and lives in Bergen County with her husband and two children. In her free time she loves to exercise and spend time with her family.
